Gada Productions offers Wedding and Event photography in an obtrusive and candid way without interfering with your guests or ceremony. We like to capture the intimacy of your wedding and event in a storytelling type way.
Many brides ask us about our style; they want to know if we do photojournalistic or posed pictures. The truth is that we like to capture the best of both worlds, photojournalistic, and contemporary posed pictures. As artists, we love photojournalistic photography. We like the authenticity, freshness and the story behind a photojournalistic picture. Having said that, we also like posed wedding photography, but with contemporary twist. It is true that in the past, posed photography had a bad reputation and it was a no, no for any serious professional photographer. Luckily, through the years, posed wedding photography has evolved into an art form. Beautifully crafted posed photography can result in wonderful pictures.
Unless of course, a bride is completely oppose to a specific approach, we always take photojournalistic and contemporary posed wedding photographs. Since a wedding is an event that cannot be recreated, in our experience, having both approaches gives brides options when it comes time to choose their favorite wedding pictures for their albums. Our goal is to make brides and grooms look their best. It also makes for happy parents and grandparents who are more familiar with traditional wedding photographs.
Photography is also about storytelling. As we are taking pictures, we are thinking about the whole picture, meaning the wedding event. How it unfolded; the emotions, happiness, love the couple feel for one another, and of course the families and friends.
So if we really have to put a label to our style, it would have to be: photojournalistic, contemporary posed, documentary and storytelling style.
